Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of FERMUNO. They explain how you may use the game and what we expect from every player.

Last updated: {LAST_UPDATED} · Effective date: {EFFECTIVE_DATE}

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or playing FERMUNO at {WEBSITE_URL}, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. FERMUNO is operated by {COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME} ({COMPANY_NAME}).

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to agree to these Terms under the law of your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian where applicable law allows it.

3. Account creation and security

You must give accurate information when you register and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at {SUPPORT_EMAIL} if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One person may not use accounts to gain unfair advantages, for example by operating multiple accounts to boost each other.

4. FERMUNO gameplay and licence

FERMUNO is a browser-based agricultural management game. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and play the game for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.

5. Virtual currencies and items

FERMUNO contains virtual content, including the virtual currencies CROWN and AURUM, Energy, virtual items, crops, buildings, animals, memberships, seasonal content and other virtual entitlements.

  • Virtual content is licensed to you for use in the game only. You do not own it and it is not your property.
  • Virtual currencies and items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money and cannot be sold, transferred or traded outside the game, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
  • We may adjust, rebalance or remove virtual content as the game evolves, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Content obtained through cheating, bugs or fraud may be removed.

6. Current payment status

Real-money payments are currently disabled in FERMUNO. You cannot buy AURUM or any other content with real money at this time. AURUM and other content can only be obtained and used through the mechanisms currently enabled in the game.

If real-money purchases are introduced in the future, additional purchase and payment terms may apply, the consumer rights granted to you by applicable law will be respected, and these Terms and/or the relevant purchase terms may be updated before payments are enabled.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Cheat, or use or exploit bugs, glitches or unintended game behaviour.
  • Use bots, scripts, automation or third-party software to play or interact with the service.
  • Manipulate, forge or replay requests, or interfere with the client or servers.
  • Circumvent rate limits, cooldowns or other technical protections.
  • Commit fraud, including with referrals, rewards or purchases.
  • Attempt to manipulate the game economy, Market or leaderboards.
  • Abuse social systems, spam, harass, threaten or discriminate against other players or staff.
  • Access, or attempt to access, other players' accounts or data, or any non-public part of the service.
  • Impersonate FERMUNO staff or other players.

8. Security vulnerabilities

If you discover a bug or security vulnerability, report it to {SUPPORT_EMAIL} and do not use, share or exploit it. Responsible reporting will not be treated as a breach of these Terms.

9. Player content

You may provide content such as profile photos, player and farm names, support messages and attachments, reports and other submissions. You must own or have the necessary rights to everything you submit, and it must not be unlawful, infringing, offensive, sexual, hateful or misleading.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process that content only as needed to operate the service. We may remove content or rename players that break these Terms.

10. Social features

FERMUNO includes friends, cooperatives, leaderboards and public profiles. Other players can see your public profile information. You can block players and report behaviour that breaks these Terms; we review reports and may act on them, but we cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

11. Suspension, restriction and termination

We may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts, remove virtual content or reverse rewards if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, to protect other players or to comply with law. Where appropriate, we will tell you the reason. You may stop playing at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.

12. Service availability, maintenance and updates

We work to keep FERMUNO available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The game may be paused for maintenance, updates or circumstances outside our control. We may change, add or remove features and content as the game develops.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, inform players in advance where appropriate. Continuing to play after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Intellectual property

FERMUNO, its name, logo, artwork, music, software and content are owned by or licensed to {COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME} and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use our trademarks or branding without permission, except as allowed by law.

15. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FERMUNO is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of virtual content or loss of data, and our total liability is limited. We do not exclude liability where it cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or gross negligence.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by: {GOVERNING_LAW}. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, where applicable.
